Director of Mental Health Programmes
Kathryn Hill has been Director of Mental Health Programmes at the Foundation since January 2006.
Kathryn has responsibility for our Mental health programmes: Research, Policy, Service Improvement and Workforce Development, Patient and Public Involvement and for our work in Scotland.
Prior to this, Kathryn was Head of Safer Practice/Mental Health Lead at the National Patient Safety Agency. She has a long history of working in mental health services, most recently as an NHS Mental Health Trust Service Director. Kathryn has also been a Research Fellow with the Institute for Applied Health and Social Policy, King’s College London, and has published widely, most recently co-editing Mental Health Today, published by Pavilion.
