  • 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in any one year

  • 1 in 6 of us are affected by depression at some point in our lifetime

  • Suicide remains the most common cause of death in men under the age of 35

  • 1 in 5 children have a mental health problem in any one year, and about half of all mental health problems are rooted in childhood

  • 1 in 20 people have some form of dementia

  • 1 in 15 young people self harms

  • 40% of people with learning disabilities experience mental health problems.
