Request a speaker from the Mental Health Foundation

The Mental Health Foundation employs a dynamic team of experienced practitioners, researchers and managers to do research, develop services, design training, provide information, influence policy and raise awareness.

  • If you would like a member of our highly qualified team to present at your event, please read the notes below and complete our speaker request form

Notes for organisations inviting speakers

These notes are to assist you when inviting a speaker from the Mental Health Foundation to your event. Please pass these guidelines to any colleagues who may also be involved in event planning.

We regret that it is not always possible to provide speakers for events, but we do consider all requests and try to help where time and resources permit. If we are unable to field a speaker, we may be able to provide publications or posters instead.

We need the following information before we can consider your request:

  • event title

  • event programme

  • requested speech title or topic

  • confirmed and invited speakers

  • audience level, background and expected numbers

  • method of advertising the event.

This information will help us to help you. It will enable us to identify the most appropriate member of staff for your event. If you already have a speaker in mind for your event, please tell us and we will approach them first.

It would be useful to receive feedback on the event and our speaker – both from delegate feedback and your own comments. This will help us to continue to make improvements for future similar events.
