Have your say on mental health

We believe it is important to include the views of people who have experience of mental health issues in our work. We also recognise the value of vibrant e-communities where people can share their views with each other.

There are many ways you can have your say:

Bulletin Boards

Here users can continue to discuss issues by posting and replying to messages.

The board topics are:

Forums

Here users can be part of a vibrant community and be part of a conversation with other users via email.

The forums allow users to: discuss ideas, ask questions and find answers

Share your story

This section gives an insight into personal stories of the users of our website and of other people who have helped us in our work.

The stories include stories on mental health problems and strategies of coping with mental illness.

Facebook

The Mental Health Foundation also has a presence on Facebook. To get involved and show support please visit our Facebook page and add us as a friend.

We also have a Facebook application named "How angry are you" where you can leave rants and take an anger quiz.

Policy and campaigns panel

The Mental Health Foundation is always fighting for better support for people with mental health problems, and challenging discrimination.

To do this effectively we need to hear from the experts. This means you - people who have experienced mental health problems, carers, and mental health workers.

Become a member of our policy and campaigns panel and help us campaign for mental health.
