Moira Fraser has been appointed Head of Policy at the Mental Health Foundation while Toby Williamson is on secondment to the Department of Constitutional Affairs.
Moira will use her skills and experience to develop the Mental Health Foundation’s policy department, which will focus on public mental health and services for young people, as well working with partner organisations on issues such as Incapacity Benefit and the reform of the Mental Health Act.
Moira says;
"I am excited to have joined the Foundation, which has an impressive track record in developing solutions and achieving change in policy and practice. I hope to be taking forward our work in the key areas of public mental health and services for young people, where the Foundation has a great deal to contribute to the current policy agenda.”
Prior to her appointment, Moira spent four years at Mind where she joined as a campaigns officer in 2002, before taking the lead on health policy.
